Putting resources into a Health Coach is a smart choice for many reasons, regardless of whether you are hoping to get in shape, gain energy, or simply learn about various healthcare and nutrition strategies. There are plenty of benefits of hiring someone to support, educate, and motivate you on your journey to be healthy, and working with a health-coach can be incredibly rewarding.

There are numerous benefits to getting fit and healthy and there are health coaches in Los Angeles who can help you achieve this goal. To be in optimal health and in top shape, you should see a Health Coach like myself who is also Registered Dietitian

My unique background provides the client with the added benefit of working with a professional with extensive nutrition knowledge and expertise as it pertains to health.  If you are still not sure how a registered dietitian health coach can help,

Here are a few reasons why you should hire one –

1. If You Are Struggling To Lose Weight – Losing weight isn’t a cakewalk (no pun intended) and it takes a lot of effort, dedication and hard work. A registered dietitian health coach will provide you with specific nutrition guidelines to follow, which is tailored to your unique situation, and will also coach you along your journey, providing you with much needed motivation during your incredible transformation.

2. If You Are Overloaded With Information–There are over thousands of myths surrounding health and nutrition. A lot of this advice should not be followed, as it can actually be fatal. A registered dietitian health coach can provide sound nutrition education which is scientifically backed, and provide honest health advice as it pertains to your health condition and general well being. Remember not everything that sounds true should be followed, which is why getting a health coach to point you in the right direction is a great idea.

3. If You Feel Constantly Sick –If you fall sick often, and constantly feel sluggish or weak, it is definitely time to hire a registered dietitian health coach. You are probably missing out on important nutrients, and may be undernourished. Your registered dietitian health coach can help you with what foods to eat to boost your immune system.

4. If You Cannot Control Your Cravings – If you are someone who cannot control their cravings, you should opt for a health coach. Why? Because your health coach will help you identify the reasons behind your cravings and offer you ways to cope in a healthy manner. You will be able to learn intuitive eating techniques and also learn how to monitor your hunger and satiety cues.

Bottom line is that if you need to make long lasting dietary or lifestyle changes, you definitely need a registered dietitian health coach.

Foods That You Should Avoid While You Are Trying To Lose Weight

When you start your weight loss journey, you must have a specific diet plan in your mind about what to eat, when to eat and how to eat. These specific diet plans sometimes turn out to be quite rigid and so suppressive at times that most people give up on the weight loss program.

As a registered Nutrition Coach in Los Angeles, I have come up with a different approach to the idea of maintaining a diet and I always advice my clients with the same. The idea of trying to eat the specific foods on a diet plan can be quite tough; but the idea of avoiding a few foods during your weight loss journey can actually be pretty easy. Keeping this idea in mind, I have made a list of foods that you should avoid while you are on your weight loss program. Check this out below –

Snack bars that are high in fiber – Now this might surprise you. Although, fibers are quite important and good for your health, it is very important that you should avoid eating high fibers snack bars. They contain a lot and lot of fibers and such a huge amount of fibers can be harmful for your body.

Whole Milk – Drinking whole milk during your weight loss program can be a very bad decision to make. Whole milk contains bad cholesterol and a lot of fats which you definitely should avoid adding on your diet plan.

Fruit juice – Everyone loves a glass of fruit juice just out of the cartoon as a part of the breakfast. But this glass of fruit juice is giving you nothing but just some empty calories. So instead of going for juice, try to eat one fruit which will give you fibers and some other nutrients too.

Alcohol—Alcohol contains a lot of calories. Even if you are an average alcoholic you consume up to 2000 extra calories in a day. Also, your body cannot burn your fats and calories until and unless alcohol is out of your system. Besides alcohol have many other side effects too. Therefore avoid alcohol in your weight loss journey completely.

The foods where the label says “low fat foods” – If the label says its low fat that means the manufacturer has replaced the natural ingredients with some chemicals so that the food becomes low fat. These chemicals are harmful to your body and this is why you should stay away from low fat foods.
